Savills

CML Agency Accounting is used extensively by the Savills business in the Oxford office for residential lettings accounting in support of the Savills nationwide residential lettings branch network. In the Wimborne office the system is deployed for a number of large portfolio clients. This includes the Marina Developments (MDL) assignment which is an extensive portfolio of commercial, residential and lease berth service charges. The complex nature of this portfolio has meant a challenge for both the software system and the CML consultants in effecting the implementation. An example of one of the challenges surmounted was dealing with VAT Partial Exemption on a service charge where the contributors to the service charge fund are both residential and commercial. Service charge in its own right can be complex on a mixed portfolio but to add VAT partial exemption to the equation has added to the challenge
