Managing Director

Robert became Managing Director in 2005 having joined the company in 2004 as Commercial Director. Robert looks after strategy, business development, finance, staff and client management. Robert is an accountant by profession and his accounting expertise is deployed in liaison with the software development team regarding those aspects of the software dealing with technical accounting matters.

Prior to his involvement with CML Robert has spent eight years dealing with property and client accounting at Savills PLC and subsequently four years as Finance Director at MDL Management PLC, a medium sized property business with waterfront investments and developments. Prior to qualifying as an accountant Robert had studied Agriculture and Farm Management so brings an unusually practical approach to finance!

When not at his desk Robert takes to the high seas in a sailing yacht for a complete diversion and antidote to the busy detailed task of serving the client base. Frequent cross channel forays ensure that the wine cellar is kept topped up – both on board and at home!
